The following typology divides Danish farms by soil type and major enterprise for the purpose of creating an inventory of Danish farming systems. The typology builds on a representative set of accounts that are reported by the advisors to the Danish Research Institute of Food Economics (FØI) and constitute the basic empirical input to the farm types presented here.
